I know, it sounds crazy, but I promise you – this girl is worth it. I started dating Violet when we were in middle school. At the time, I thought she was beautiful, but apparently, no one else at school did. She had braces and frizzy hair, and she was the smartest girl in the grade. We started dating in 7th grade, and by 9th grade, we were inseparable. But something changed, something that I didn’t even consider until people started pointing it out to me. Violet had a serious glow-up. I guess you could say Violet blossomed, but I always thought it was creepy that people were talking about how hot she had gotten.
