My name is Ivy and about a year ago, I found out about my parents’ secret room. They had been hiding it from me for 16 years! The first time I noticed something strange going on with my parents, I was about 9 years old. I was at home, watching TV after dinner and I wanted to ask my father to help me with my math homework. So I went to their room and knocked, but nobody answered. I opened the door, but the room was empty. It was strange, so I shouted loudly, “Mom! Dad!” I heard no sound, no answer. I called them, but they couldn’t be reached. I started panicking. My young mind went straight to thinking that they’d left me for good. I was lying on the carpet, crying my eyes out, being all drama-queen when my parents appeared out of nowhere to console me. “What happened, darling?” my mom said. “We were in our room, so we didn’t hear anything.” NOW. The thing is, I checked every room. They weren’t there. I thought that it was beyond strange, but I was just glad they came back.
