Hey everyone ^_^ It's Rachel! 3 years later and I've finally gotten over this embarrassing experience of following strangers to a "tea ceremony," only to become part of a cult-like ritual. It's my fault for being so naive, so all I can do now is warn other foreigners to beware of these types of situations. I'm lucky that i'm only out 10,000 won because I've heard of others having to "donate" as much as their age in order to leave. For example, 260,000 if you are 26 years old.
