But then I submitted my mothers bank statement too, to show 10 Lakhs in total. So you can show all your family member's bank details. Also if you have any other investments like SIP, Mutual Funds, Shares etc, do show them as well. In general, Japan's visa is very hard to get, so if you dont have any prior international VISA, I would recommend not to apply for Japan first, instead go for easier VISA's like Thailand and other Asian countries first, then try for some European countries, and after getting some good international travel history, try for Japan Visa.
