Light 'Em Up: An on-going series of performances that we as fans simply cannot afford to forget Every knows Carmelo Anthony is a scorer, he always has been but to score 60 in a game makes him apart of a special club. When he gets in the zone you can pretty much say that nobody can stop him. He became the first player to score 60 points without a single turnover, that's an impressive stat considering how many times he had the ball in his hands. On another note he created a pretty cool storyline with this game, Bernard King, Melo's favourite player when growing up, previously held the Knicks record of points with 60 points and Anthony now holds that record. It was Melo's career high too. Might I add that Anthony sat out the last 7 minutes of the game because New York were blowing out Charlotte. Imagine what he might've finished with. Stats: C.
