DeeJay235's video: DipoTapes Victor Oladipo: The Beginning College Years

Oladipo really came on to the scene this year, from being a role player to becoming a star for the Indiana Hoosiers, these are some of his highlights showing what he is capable of. He is projected as a Lottery Pick/First Rounder in this years draft. He is known for being one of the best defenders in the country but has shown that he is a scorer as well, averaging 13.6PPG over this season. He is an explosive athlete who makes the big plays that get the fans involved, whether that be an explosive dunk, a chasedown block, a big three-pointer or a stop on defense. His style and talent has controversially been compared to Michael Jordan, but the people who said it weren't saying he is going to be the next Michael Jordan, or is as good as, they were saying that in terms of his game style, his smoothness, his ability to do it all - that relates to MJ. Clark Kellog was calling an Indiana game and after a big dunk described Victor Oladipo as 'like a baby's bottom, smooth and sometimes EXPLOSIVE'. Which has caught on and in terms of what it means actually describes Oladipo fairly well. As I live in Australia I don't get heaps of coverage of NCAA and NBA in general, obviously not as much as living in America would get you, but I first came across Oladipo early on in this years season and Victor caught my eye straight away. I wasn't sure who he was but I simply admired the way he played. His tenacious defense, his energy and the way he always crashed the offensive boards in that game were the main things that I loved immediately. From then on I followed him throughout the season and tuned into Indiana games whenever I could purely to watch this guy.
