Defying Odds Donnelly's video: Skiing the New Terrain Park at Stevens Pass

@Skiing the New Terrain Park at Stevens Pass
With Vail having bought out Stevens Pass, the resort has made some changes to their terrain parks. With Brooks now being a high speed quad, they have turned the slopes over in the Brooks chair area into more of a beginner and intermediate skiing area and moved the terrain park over to the Hogsback chair area. I do miss the progression jumps they had at the top of the old terrain park followed by the two or three bigger further down. The big jumps in the new terrain park are not as big as the bigger jumps in the old park. Plus, I feel it can be quite easy to have too much speed and over-shoot the landings on these new jumps, which is something I am quite leery of. Despite the the size of the jumps and the landings not being as big as in the previous park, it is kind of nice to have something different. One other note: They have not groomed Lower Terminal at all this year. I suppose they used to groom this run to make it easier for riders to get to the old park on Brooks.
