Had a few questions for those who insist that Christianity was purely an outgrowth of Judaism and that the pagans had no influence. Where did the Christians get some of their ideas? http://www.godvsthebible.com Questions: Where did they get their idea about Hell? Where did they get their idea about the Holy Spirit? Where did they get their idea of the need for an intercessor with the divine? Where does the communion come from since it contradicts Jewish practice? Where does the idea of the ultimate sacrifice come from which fulfills the need for animal sacrifice? Where do pagan Christmas/Easter rituals come from?
