On September 28, 2013, Project 113 made a huge stepping stone in the restoration of former CNJ 0-6-0 . This was the first day 113 would be taken out on the road for a distance. We start at Minersville early in the morning and witness as she departs and makes her way south towards Schuylkill Haven to participate in the towns Schuylkill Haven Borough Days. Upon arrival, 113 didn't stop but proceeded thru town then doubleheaded back into town with Reading & Northern's 425, which was there to haul trips down to Port Clinton and return. After the festivities were over, 113 made her way back to Minersville. A huge thanks goes out to Bob Kimmel and all the members of project 113 for all their hard work and dedication towards getting the 113 operational again, despite horrible outside working conditions.
