In this week’s video we’re taking a wine tour in the Annapolis Valley wine region. Our wine tour was with Grape Escapes (https://www.novascotiawinetours.com/) where we did a wine and lunch tour. Our first stop was at Luckett Vineyards where we did a wine tasting also had lunch. The second stop was the only winery on the day’s tour we had never been to before- Benjamin Bridge. And the last stop was at Domaine De Grand Pre. We had a fabulous day tasting various wines, learning a lot, exploring the vineyards and eating yummy food. For this video and the last few of videos we’ve teamed up with Tourism Nova Scotia! We pick up the second part of the video on the next day where we head on a little trip outside of the town of Wolfville. First we head to a place in Canning known as the Lookoff. It has the most amazing views of the Annapolis Valley, Wolfville area, and the Minas Basin (Bay of Fundy). After this we drive for about 10 more minutes right to the Bay of Fundy to Baxter Harbour Falls. Despite living in Nova Scotia our entire lives we’d only recently heard of this place.
