Department of History at Ohio State's video: Art in a Time of Revolution: Reconsidering the American Revolution and the Mexican Revolution

Presented by Zara Anishanslin, University of Delaware and John Lear, University of Puget Sound with a Comment by Byron Hamann, History of Art at the Center for Historical Research at Ohio State University on March 1, 2019. Professor Lear's talk focuses on Diego Rivera as an artist/political figure in the Mexican Revolution and the Cold War. Professor Anishanslin speaks on the interplay of art and material culture in the American Revolution. This talk was co-sponsored by the History of Art and the Center for Latin American Studies at Ohio State University.
