I am an interior designer, I moved into my new house two years ago, and one of the things I have to do was to make curtains for my house and pelmet board. I have made four pelmet boards prior and I thought this would be an opportunity to make the last pelmet board give you the public an opportunity to see my daughter Francesca and I in action, some years ago I made a miniature sample, this is on a larger scale, it is made out of 9mm plywood. The measurements for this particular pelmet board is 278 cm long with the returns of 16 cm, the drop is 16 inches. In order to get the width, we’ve had to join it once, the two corners are also joined for the returns. The materials used are wadding, velcro, adhesive, and plenty of staples, lining, plus grey soft suede fabric. I am a professional seamstress, ski suits, as well as a professional curtains and blinds maker, also supplying accessories tracks and wooden blinds.
