With the majority of us are able to stay at home we are helping to save lives and there are some of us who are trying to save lives in a different way by helping to make Mask, that’s where I come in. I have been a machinist for many years and over 11 1/2 million viewers have seen my work on YouTube and I have taught many how to sew particular items over the years. Now it is for me to show you teach you or supply you with my knowledge or my product which is the mask, I will be making them in a variety of colours and fabric. I will be conforming to the FFP3 respiratory protective. Which also means performance of tight fitting facepiece depend on activity achievement achieving a good contact between the wearer skin and the face seal of the face piece. I also have made a video showing how to make this mask but now I’m going to include a step-by-step demonstration for you to make the mask yourself. When you purchase the digital download pattern of my design that I have designed and registered (608 5195) feel free to visit my website https://desswags.co.uk or https://desmassagetherapy.co.uk to purchase your own mask. You can order download to print on an A4 paper which would give you half the pattern which you put on a fold of fabric or you can buy it for a A3 printer and print the pattern as a whole. How to make a Mask 1. lay your fabric out first main fabric second your interlining which acts as a filter and third you’re lining. 2. Lay your pattern on top 3. Cut all three fabric at the same time this will give you a perfect layer of all three pattern to be the same. 4. Stitch darts and overlook/zigzag/ search 5. See under the jaw join seam then overlook stitch zigzag or search. 6. Fold the mask in half across the V figure straightening it up line up the jaw stitching to the centre of the nose centre (This section is difficult to explain so revert to the video). 7. With the Mask Folded in half from top to bottom at the mouth section when everything is lined up and centralise proceed to stitch as though you’re making a room for your mouth. 8. Stitch the both sides of the jaw first starting down by 1 inch. 9. Now proceed to stitch under the jaw and enclose elastic at the same time. 10. Completing the circle we now add the elastic to the top by sewing it in all the way round over the nose and to the opposite side. 11. Hold the end of each elastic join it to its self tie a wreath not which is (leftover right right over left) secure that as tight as you can and then thread the elastic (By pulling) round in a circle until the not disappear with in the hem. This will give the Moss a finishing touch now add the toggle at the end of the elastic so that it becomes adjustable when wearing on your face.
