Desbreko's video: Final Fantasy IV Advance - Elemental Lords

@Final Fantasy IV Advance - Elemental Lords
The battle with the Elemental Lords on active battle speed 1. Played in real time on VisualBoyAdvance 1.7.2 re-recording v19.3. Character Levels FuSoYa Lv50, Cecil Lv42, Rydia Lv39, Edge Lv39, Rosa Lv41 Don't bother using a Cottage or Tents at the save point since, just as last time, Rubicante will restore you to full HP/MP before the fight. This battle consists of all four Elemental Lords, one after another. First you fight Scarmiglione, then Rubicante, then Cagnazzo, then Barbariccia. Incidentally, this happens to be the order in which, should you have an elemental spell casting when they switch, it will be absorbed by the next one, except for Barbariccia. So be careful with your spells and avoid wasting MP. As general tips for this fight, have Rosa cast Berserk on Cecil and have Edge keep Image up on himself. Try to keep your party near full HP with Rosa since the Elemental Lords use a lot of full party spells in addition to harder single target physical attacks, but remember that FuSoYa can also heal if it's urgent. And if Rydia or FuSoYa run low on MP, cast Osmose to steal more. First up is Scarmiglione, who is weak to fire. Have Rydia and FuSoYa cast Firaga/Fira and have Edge cast Flame. If someone gets Curse on them, have Rosa or FuSoYu cast Esuna, or use a Cross to remove it. Scarmiglione only uses physical attacks and Curse but his attacks are the most powerful of the four Lords. Second is Rubicante, who is weak to ice/water. Cast Blizzaga/Blizzara with Rydia and FuSoYa, and cast Flood with Edge. Rubicante won't raise his cloak this time so he'll always be vulnerable, and he also doesn't use Glare against a single target. He now uses it against the whole party, which does significantly less damage per person. Counter Glare and his full party Firaga spells with a full party Curaga, or Curaja if he uses two in a row. Third is Cagnazzo, who always has water around him this time and, unlike last time, now absorbs ice/water damage and is only weak to lightning. Cast Thundaga/Thundara with Rydia and FuSoYa, Blitz with Edge, etc. Cagnazzo mainly uses physical attacks but he also has Tidal Wave, which a full party Curaga will take care of. Fourth and last is Barbariccia, who always has her wind barrier up though it doesn't provide any extra defense this time. She has no elemental weakness or resistance so that means it's time to switch to non-elemental damage; cast Flare with FuSoYa, Bio with Rydia, and attack or throw things with Edge. Barbariccia's physical attacks and Ray spell (which causes Slow Petrify) aren't very dangerous but her Maelstrom spell will bring the entire party down to single digit HP. Cast a full party Curaja as soon as possible afterwards and be prepared to revive someone if they get hit before it casts.
