Va Vaya Ne Vadal Umatya, is famous Gujarati song which is mainly played on Garba ground during Navratri. The song was used by Bhutanese with changed lyrics welcoming Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during Modi's visit to the capital Thimpu on 22nd March 2024. In a cultural display of dance and songs, Bhutanese and Hindi songs were also played. Earlier when the Prime Minister arrived at Bhuta, a group of young Bhutanese boys and girls performed Dandiya raas, a traditional Gujarati dance. They were dressed in Gujarati cultural dresses. The song used for Dandiya raas was a Gujarati garba song penned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself. DeshGujarat
