The café is located in the Signal Hill Visitors’ Centre and is the pick-up point for your picnic. Here is what our day looked like. Insert Video We ordered our picnic in advance on the website (at least one day prior). The café is petite and busy with hikers and visitors to the centre. As your selections are prepared in advance, you can pick up and go quickly allowing you a more leisurely time on the trail.  Your picnic bundle includes: a choice of sandwich, a side of kettle cooked chips, two sweets and a choice of beverage, all prepped and boxed into a drawstring bag which is yours to keep. A waterproof blanket is provided, so you don’t need to bring any items to ensure you have a great picnic.  Your ‘goodie bag’ includes youth and adult maps of the trails around Signal Hill to help find the perfect spot to enjoy lunch. After taking in the scenery and enjoying the delectable and filling lunch, you can take your time getting back to the café because there is no time restriction on returning the blanket. And to thank you for returning the blanket for future picnickers, you are treated to either hot chocolate or your choice from a selection of gelato flavours to finish off the outing!
