@South Thailand: beaches from almost empty unspoiled to crowed luxurious ones
South Thailand: beaches from almost empty unspoiled to crowed luxurious ones. I have visited South Thailand seven times and have about 10.000 photos of it. In the selection I have gone beyond only nice postcards of beautiful beaches. Instead I have shown the immense beauty and richness in many details. I hope you will enjoy it. Along the Andaman coast there are a lot of great spots: The vivid city of Krabi is a good starting point to explore some more of the Andaman coast. By boat starting at Ao-Nang you can explore the Phang Nga bay, or enjoy the scenic beauty of the beaches of Railay. Phuket is THE premier beach destination of Thailand. On Phuket's western coast you will find a lot of sandy beaches, from heavily developed, with luxurious hotels to more quiet. The two islands for people who love nature, space and tranquility are Ko Tarutao and eco island, close to the border with Malaysia, and up to the North Ko Phayam by Ranong Following the coast of the Gulf, you pass through: -Phetchaburi a beautiful town with many wats and caves -Hua Hin Thailand's oldest beach resort -Prachap Khiri Khan with a pleasant and quiet beach By boat you can visit the famous island of Ko Samui and the surrounding Ang Thong National Marine Park On the opposite side of this Gulf is the beautiful island of Ko Chang.
