If you’re not ready to make sacrifices, if you’re not ready to commit the time, patience, attention, love, care for the next 18 years, don’t get one. 🐕 Don’t BUY: If you want a four legged companion, a rescued dog will be the MOST grateful to be accepted into a loving home. There are millions of dogs on the streets and in shelters that wait their whole lives for a chance. You sound ignorant when you say you want to get a dog but don’t know how or immediately think of a breeder?! Just step outside and you’ll find 5 beautiful litters to pick from - for free. 🐕 A dog is forever: why are so many breed dogs abandoned and dumped? Because buying a dog is “ownership”. Not attachment. You cannot assign a monetary value to a living being. He or she is a living, breathing, deeply emotional being. So when you give them the impression of a home then leave them at garbage dumps and highways when you’re bored or can’t take care of them anymore - they are emotionally broken.
