This can be achieved by pushing down and pulling up a lever which is attached in this diy metal vise. Pushing the lever down holds the workpiece strongly in this diy vise and pulling up releases the workpiece from the vise. This homemade vise is very simple and easy to make at home. This diy vise can be used as a bench vise and also as drill press vise. This diy homemade metal vise is very strong and powerful. This diy vise producers a very high clamping forces without any slipping of workpiece from the bench vise. In the old bench vise physical effort is required to rotate the handle but in this diy vise not that much physical effort is required just 1 second pushing or pulling the lever that's it.
