Dick Tracy's video: Dick Tracy Radio - Snow Slide 4 12 1938

Starring Ned Wever as Dick Tracy and Walter Kinsella as Pat Patton with Keene Crockett on sound effects, this Dick Tracy Radio show aired 4/12/1938 and begins with a Quaker Oats sponsorship advertisement before diving into the second of 10 broadcasts in a 10 chapter story arc, "The Purple Rider". Dick Tracy has been helping thee inhabitants of Pitchbend in the great northwest stand up to the predations of Vernon Kyle. Pat Patton and Mounty police are guarding a shipment travelling by bobsled while Dick and Junior, having stayed behind in the town get an offer of help from a mysterious Purple Rider. After a brief update with Dick and Junior, we listen as Patton and the Mounties go through Deadman's pass. A deadly snow slide is suddenly triggered and all but one sled is buried. The surviver returns to town, and Dick Tracy rallies the town folk to go dig the men out of the snow. Pat Patton is the first dug out, but we don't know if he's alive!
