Dick Tracy's video: Dick Tracy Radio - Purple Rider Captured 4 18 1938

Starring Ned Wever as Dick Tracy and Walter Kinsella as Pat Patton with Keene Crockett on sound effects, this Dick Tracy Radio show aired 4/18/1938 and begins with a Quaker Oats sponsorship advertisement before diving into the sixth of 10 broadcasts in a ten chapter story arc, "Purple Rider Captured". Junior is held captive by two of Vernon Kyle's men in a mountain cabin but he has relayed a mirror message to Dick Tracy from the cabin roof. The two men, Butch and Curly try to force him down before they are lasso'ed by the Purple Rider. The ties the men up in a tree and then forces Junior to ride with him on his horse Ranger to his hideout where he has two more of Kyle's men. He plans to kill all four. Dick and Patton arrive at the first cabin and bring Butch and Curly down from the tree (and locking them in the cabin) before heading off after the Rider and Junior. In that cabin, Junior seems to get his hands on a pistol which he holds in his pocket, intending to force the Rider back to Pitchblend to face justice for attempted murder. After the broadcast, Junior leads a special Secret Service Patrol meeting where he announeces a special assignment, all patrol members are to wear their Patrol badges on Wednesday, April 20th.
