Digital Friend's video: How Make A Bright DIY Spotlight Tutorial Search and Rescue Stage Lighting

@How Make A Bright DIY Spotlight Tutorial | Search and Rescue | Stage Lighting
Learn how to extend the range of your flashlight. All you need is a big magnifying glass and a bright flashlight with a new battery. Any flashlight will do, but a flashlight with a lens usually works best. Use trial and error to focus the flashlight beam. Adjust the distance of the magnifying glass from the flashlight. Sometimes it is also necessary to also adjust the lens on the flashlight if the lens can be adjusted. Try and adjust the lens so that most of the flashlight beam shines into the magnifying glass lens. The objective is to focus the flashlight beam, so that the beam can light up objects far away. The spotlight in old light houses was just an oil lamp whose light was focused using glass lenses. This is the same idea, only I’m using a flashlight and magnifying glass instead of an oil lamp and lenses.
