DirtExperience's video: 2019 Nitto Jeep Experience - Texas Presented by KMC Wheels

May 20th, 2019 - (Mason, TX) –Approximately 70 families with their rigs in tow made the 4th annual trek to Katemcy Rocks in Mason, TX for the Nitto Tire Jeep Experience – Texas Presented by KMC Wheels. The event is hosted each year by Mel Wade and Lisa Wade, the owners of JKX. Each year JKX hosts 4-5 events specifically targeted towards the Jeep Lifestyle. The Nitto Jeep Experience - Texas Presented by KMC is the first event of the season and is open to all brands of Jeeps. In attendance were plenty of JKs, JLs, TJs, CJs and even a couple of Cherokees. The rig many were there to see was the new Jeep Gladiator known as the OG40 built by Off Road Evolution with EVO Manufacturing parts. Katemcy Rocks has trails available for all skill levels and the trails ranged from Extreme Rock Crawling to scenic Overlanding and each wheeling group contained about 20 vehicles. Friday as an open exploratory day, Saturday and Sunday were guided Jeep runs. The event is a combination of good wheeling and quality family time. Friday night featured a campfire cookout with brews for the whole family, with hot dogs and s’mores roasting on an open fire and and a keg of root beer for the kids to enjoy. Saturday night was a Warn sponsored BBQ, followed by a raffle, and a live band. Some of the items won at the raffle included a set of Nitto Tires, KMC Wheels, Exodus drive shafts, and multiple other prizes. Hardly anyone went home empty handed! The next stop on the 2019 Experience tour is the 2019 Nitto JK Experience Presented by KMC Wheels which takes place August 17th – 24th. Participants for that event apply on the web site www.jk-experience.com. Only 10 applications are accepted each year and 10 participating sponsors attend. The event is a week-long adventure of off-roading and exciting outdoor and regional adventures. Participants with JKs are encouraged to apply ASAP. The Nitto JL Experience presented by KMC s October 5th – 12th and is exclusively for JLs.
