The title was successfully defended in 2013 with a last matchday away win over leading team Athletic Bilbao, and weeks later it also won the national cup with a 4–0 win over Prainsa Zaragoza to become the fifth team to win the Spanish double. In 2013–14 UEFA Women's Champions League club came to quarterfinals.
