Disney Sisters's video: Disneyland Backlot Premiere Shop at Downtown Disney

All New Disneyland Backlot Premiere Shop Tour A new shop has popped up at Disney California Adventure and we had to check it out! Disneyland Backlot Premiere Shop is Now Showing at Stage 17 and we are giving you a tour of the full experience. They have rolled out the red carpet (literally) and when we walked in the cast members cheered for us as if we had just arrived at our own movie premiere! Disney Cast Members always know how to make guests feel so special. It's located at Stage 17 at Disney California Adventure, where we have attended special events in the past and it once housed the Frozen Fun with the snow play area. So as of now you have to walk through Downtown Disney, past the esplanade, past the Harbor side ticket booths and you'll see the line and the signs. We went the day after it opened (Wednesday, October 7, 2020) and we only had to wait about 15-20 minutes in line to get in, which was awesome! It's basically an extension of World of Disney at Downtown Disney as we didn't really see any different or unique items at this location. We think it's probably to break up the crowds and give guests another area to shop for their Disney Parks merchandise while safely social distancing, especially since the weekends get so busy! About half of it was Halloween products like Mickey pumpkins, trick or treat bags, mugs, backpacks, masks, bags, games, puzzles, The Nightmare Before Christmas items and Haunted Mansion merch. The other stuff seems to be based on Disney Park attractions like Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean. There is definitely way more things to buy at World of Disney, but it is always fun to see anything new at the Disney Parks. Also since the holiday season is quickly approaching, you never know if Disney is planning on doing anything different with this space moving forward. We can't wait to see it!
