Difficile aujourd’hui de définir ce qu’est un geek : un terme à la mode, parfois chic, mais un terme également entouré de clichés et employé de manière péjorative. En 2010, le terme geek rentre dans le Petit Larousse : “Personne passionnée par les technologies de l'information et de la communication, en partie par Internet...”. Une définition qui exclut tout le pan imaginaire de cette culture (comics, science fiction, jeu de rôle, manga, cosplay, etc...). Comment cette culture s’est-elle construite autour de deux univers que tout semblait opposer au départ : l’imaginaire et l’informatique ?
