Here's a video tour of a map I've been working on for gmod zombie survival. Lore: The map takes place in city 17 at what was a upscale office/shopping center with its own subway station that was under construction at the time of the combine invasion. they used the foundations of this place and expanded it into a massive self powered trash (and maybe prisoner) disposal site where everything would be turned into some form of molten slurry for the combine. over time the surrounding buildings became dilapidated and increasingly damaged by encroaching combine smart walls. And then a skeleton popped out! (this is why a zombie survival game takes place here) Some random background info: The origins of this map are kinda weird... I was playing prop hunt one day and disguised myself as a stack of Styrofoam cups when I moved the camera to inside of the cups. for some reason i then imagined sticking a toothpick or straw though the cup forming a sort of bridge inside. I then made this structure in hammer and began building a map to explain why something like this would exist. some other ideas i had for it were the inside of a large skyscraper or spaceship or perhaps something fantasy themed like the inside of some giant hollow tree but i couldn't think of any good game play ideas for it.
