Charles Wiles of Don Marshall demonstrates the features of the 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This is a special vehicle, because 2016 is the 75th anniversary of Jeep, and they’ve celebrated by making a special edition of their premier SUV. Right off the bat, there are a few things different with this edition. You’ll notice the matte finish bronze rims, also the grill inserts and the fog lamp inserts and other details paying homage to the 75th anniversary of Jeep. Underneath all of those things you’ll notice what makes Jeep great – a fantastic powertrain, a fantastic suspension, trail-rated off-road capabilities, decent fuel economy, tons of room, and luxury inside. Under the hood, is Dodge Jeep and Chrysler’s patented Pentastar v6. It’s a 3.6 liter V-6. Top rated power, top-rated fuel economy, and it’s matted up against a 8-speed automatic transmission. With this, you’ll get steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. Inside, you’ll notice this nice interior is 2-tone with almond-colored leather, orange colored stitching with black and woodgrain colored accent trim. The trim is done with laser-etching with a “1941” on the seats and a Willie’s Jeep emblem paying homage to the first Jeep. This thing is action-packed with features including an 8.4-inch color touchscreen monitor, duel DVD system, heated ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and you’ve also got steering wheel mounted radio controls, a massive back-up camera, and the list goes on. Let’s not forget the dual zone automatic temperature control, memory driver’s seat, dual panoramic moonroof, and so much more. On the back of the seats, you’ll see the dual DVD players with two independent screens, so you can watch two different things. On the side of the seats, you’ll see some RCA jacks and an HDMI port. You can plug in PlayStations, Xbox, and Blu Ray players. The back features a power-lifting rear-lift gate, which is a great feature for when you’re carrying heavy items.
