Here’s a quick look at the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica brought to us by Charles Wiles at Don Marshall Auto. Pacifica is the new minivan for Chrysler, replacing the Town and Country. It has more interior seating space, more cargo space, more features and benefits, and more fuel economy making it a worthy successor. Looking under the hood, we’ll see a 3.6 liter V6 engine. It’s a Pentastar V6, added up against its 9-speed automatic transmission. That’s what gives us our fantastic fuel economy of up to 28 miles per gallon highway, or up to 22 MPG cruising around the city. Inside the vehicle, you’ll notice a beautiful interior. This is a Touring L model showing leather interior and an 8.4-inch best-in-class touch-screen monitor with voice activation and hands-free Bluetooth. You also have a myriad of controls on the steering wheel including radio, hands-free Bluetooth, and cruise control. In the center, you’ll see there is no shift lever anymore. Now we have a shift knob giving you a smooth shift. This vehicle has triple-zone climate control, automatic temperature control, auto-dimming mirrors, and a backup camera. Rear power-sliding doors slide open with the touch of a button. This vehicle still has stow-n-go seating like the Town and Country. With the flip of one lever, seats can stow to open up more cargo space. The last feature we’ll look at is the easy-open back hatch door. Tap the one-touch button to open the door!
