Navratri Day 9: Maa Siddhidatri Navratri ki Navmi kab ki hai? The ninth day of Navratri, Navami, begins on October 11, 2024, after 12:06 PM. This day is dedicated to Maa Siddhidatri, the final form of Goddess Durga. Ashtami started on the afternoon of October 10th, around 12:30 PM, and continues until today, before transitioning into Navami. On this sacred day, we honor Devi Siddhidatri, who is known as the bestower of all supernatural powers (siddhis). She is the culmination of the nine forms of the Devi that we worship during Navratri, representing the ultimate spiritual attainment. Her name is derived from "Siddhi," meaning spiritual powers, and "Datri," meaning the giver. Siddhidatri blesses her devotees with divine insight, wisdom, and the ability to overcome challenges in life. Her form is one of divine calm and infinite grace, representing the culmination of our spiritual journey during Navratri. The color for today, Navami, is purple, symbolizing spirituality, wisdom, and transformation. Purple resonates with the crown chakra, representing the highest level of consciousness and divine connection. As we worship Maa Siddhidatri today, we seek her blessings for wisdom, spiritual insight, and strength to face the challenges ahead. Mantras for Positive Energy For today's Navami reel, I will be reciting three powerful mantras dedicated to Maa Siddhidatri, just as I have been doing throughout these nine days. These mantras are potent for invoking positive energy and aligning ourselves with divine consciousness. Reciting these mantras allows us to invite the most powerful spiritual energies into our lives. Siddhidatri Mantra ॐ देवी सिद्धिदात्र्यै नमः॥ Om Devi Siddhidatryai Namah॥ Meaning: I bow to the Goddess Siddhidatri, the bestower of supernatural powers and spiritual wisdom. Prarthana (Prayer) सिद्ध गन्धर्व यक्षाद्यैरसुरैरमरैरपि। सेव्यमाना सदा भूयात् सिद्धिदा सिद्धिदायिनी॥ Meaning: "May Goddess Siddhidatri, who is always worshipped by siddhas, celestial beings (gandharvas), yakshas, asuras, and gods, bless us eternally with spiritual attainments." The journey through Navratri reflects a spiritual progression. From Shailaputri to Siddhidatri, each form of the Devi represents a different stage of the soul’s journey. Maa Siddhidatri, as the final form, bestows the highest spiritual knowledge and helps us overcome the ego, symbolized by her blessing of siddhis. Her iconography, seated on a lotus, represents detachment from the material world, and her four arms symbolize the powers she grants to her devotees. By worshipping Siddhidatri on this ninth day, we honor the culmination of our spiritual journey. After passing through the different forms of the Goddess, we now seek self-realization and spiritual wisdom.
