A US-based Nigerian doctor went home before Christmas to bury his uncle. While the rest of us were welcoming the New Year 2021, he died of COVID-19 at a treatment center in Nigeria. It happened on the same week that reports emerged of tens of Nigerian doctors dying from COVID-19.
