Linoleic acid in frying oil is very inflammatory Studies have shown an increase in linoleic acid in not only adipose tissue (fat) but platelets as well which has been with coronary artery disease. It was also found that half the linoleic acid stays in fat tissues for up to two years after consumption. Dr. Janine explains, however, that an increase in long-chain omega-3 fatty acids like EPA and DHA in the body has been associated with a decrease in coronary artery disease.
