Dr. Robert Ornelas's video: Cougars Program: Introduction - We Care

The Cougars Program is a Social-Emotional Development and Anti-Bully Program hosted by The S.O.G. Crew (Thump Records/ Universal Music Group) Hip-Hop members from around the United States. The program is aimed at Navajo Nation students and the Bureau of Indian Education students using a live stream platform. “We are very motivated and interested in working with students around the Tuba City, Arizona area. Our team created this project to make sure that students have the best school experience. Our goal is to continue building long-lasting relationships with students, educators, parents, and the Four Corners community for many years to come. We want all students to have the best class experience during Middle School and High School before entering College. This program will reduce the heavy workloads of teachers. The program introduction is titled ‘We Care’ using principles of Civility, the Arts, and friendship. We were visiting schools around the country before the COVID-19 Pandemic. The quarantine has opened our eyes that this is the time to give back using modern technology. It’s all about the kids,” stated program creator and producer Dr. Robert ‘Battle Ax’ Ornelas The Cougars Program is proud to launch its first puppet character named Little June Bug Yazzie. The program will use Puppets, Native American Arts, and Contemporary Urban Music to inspire students while directing them with principles of Civility and Respect. We Care episode was made up by Cougars Coach Dr. Jaquilne ‘So Blessed’ Garza, Justin Michael DeWolfe (New Hampshire), Ruby Martinez (Colorado), Karisma Cuevaz (California), Esther Escobedo (California) Arwin Head (Oregon) members of The S.O.G. Crew Hip Hop movement. Native American Music Award winner Supaman from Crow Agency Montana was this episode's featured artist.
