My name is Serjevan Singh Kalsi aka Dr. Tabla :) I am an Emergency Medicine Doctor in UK. I'm also a very Passionate Tabla Drummer. I started playing the Tabla Drums at the age of 18 and have been playing ever since. My passion for Tabla started in my local Temple where I would sit with the Priests, and learn religious hymns. Since then I have practiced nearly every day listening to and incorporating Tabla in to many different genres of music. Now, I play fusion cover music in my spare time when I'm not with family and not working in the hospital. I perform at gigs such as weddings, religious events etc. I also play with a Blues Band known as Blues Explosion and we tour around London. I play purely for fun.
