The Lego MindStorms EV3 Home set does not have an EV3 Ultrasonic Sensor included as standard in this set, even though it is included in the EV3 Education version of this set. The Ultrasonic Sensor may be purchased separately, and added to the Home set. This short tutorial suggests places where this sensor may be available for purchase. It also suggests a location that includes a beginner-level video tutorial that demonstrates a way to use this Ultrasonic Sensor. NOTE: The Lego MindStorms EV3 Home set Program Editor DOES NOT have the ability to use the Ultrasonic Sensor already built-in, so we need to add an item to the Home set Editor before we can use the Ultrasonic sensor with your EV3 Home set.
