In September the water normally cooled down and this, together with the fact that the Mörrum river now is crowded with salmon and sea trout searching for the best spawning grounds, triggers the fish to start to bite more frequently again. I say this is the period of the year when it’s most fun to fish the river. The fish bites and there are lots of fish everywhere from the southern pools close to the Baltic sea to Härnäs some 25 km up the country.
