Hello Boys and Girls... This and many more bands like The Angels is what I grew up listening to in Australia. This band epitomises the term "Aussie-Rock', and if AC/DC had a little brother...then this band would be it. Typical straight-forward punchy rock'n'roll in its rawness & simplicity. Many years back I played in an Angels tribute band called...' We're No Angels'. Pun most definitely intended as due to some legalities we had to change our original name of 'Angel City' as it was trademarked overseas. I also remember that once again The Angels tried to sue us as we were actually more popular at the live venues than they were...plus a free cover-charge was enticing to the rock'n'roll punters of the day. Needless to say, after many years of performing and touring around Australia, the music won out in the end. But it did come at a cost...as we did this for many years whilst all having full-time jobs and eventually we all got burnt out and had to call it a day. I didn't pick up a pair of sticks for over two years, as that's the toll it took on me both mentally and physically. To this day I have never owned an Angels album nor have I ever recorded one of their songs either...until today that is. I can blame my good mate Chris for this, as he wanted a drum backing track to play his guitar along to, so I decided to record it...and only now I can say that I've finally come full-circle with this band. ***Trivia...In all the years of performing this music, we had never played this song!
