Duke Lemur Center's video: Endora vs Papaya

@Endora vs. Papaya
Aye-ayes use their unique middle fingers to tap on wood, listening for insects under the bark. After chewing a small hole in the wood, the aye-aye uses her tapping finger to grab the insect larvae that comprise most of this nocturnal lemur's diet. While this papaya is certainly not full of insects, it's an enriching and tasty treat for Endora, who shows off that multipurpose tool! Thanks to technician Melanie Simmons for sharing this video!
