Duncan Bates's video: Gail Riplinger : New Age Bible Versions Interview

@Gail Riplinger : New Age Bible Versions (Interview)
From www.JackHyles.com - "New Age Bible Versions" (Interview) of author Gail Riplinger on the King James Bible issue. In 1996, Bro. Hyles presented Mrs. Gail Riplinger with an honorary doctorate degree from Hyles-Anderson College for her work on the book, "New Age Bible Versions". After Dr. Hyles' death, the new pastor of First Baptist Church (Jack Schaap) changed the positions of Hyles-Anderson College in 2009 saying that "the King James Bible is neither inspired nor preserved" and that it "contained thousands of errors". Jack Schaap proceeded to misrepresent Bro. Hyles' beliefs on the Bible, then personally attacked Mrs. Riplinger for her stand on the King James Bible, claiming "I don't listen to women theologians and I never will". He proceeded to liken her to Jezebel. Mr. Schaap also claimed that he had never read any books by Mrs. Riplinger and that "Hyles-Anderson College has never, nor will they ever sell a book written by a 'woman theologian' in the college bookstore". Mr. Schaap lied: Previous to Mr. Schaap's statement, Hyles-Anderson College sold Gail Riplinger's book "In Awe of Thy Word" in the college bookstore, which was required reading for a class on the King James Bible at Hyles-Anderson College. In 2008, Mr. Schaap asked church employees Bob Marshall and Eddie Wilson to personally meet with Mrs. Riplinger in order to get her opinion on some KJV issues Schaap was uncertain of (in preparation for his "King James Bible Summit" at the college in 2009). It seems that Mr. Schaap has no problem lying when it fits his agenda, as he was certainly willing to listen to this "woman theologian" at that time. Read more about Mr. Schaap's attacks on Gail Riplinger here: http://www.hacalumni.com/ When presenting Mrs. Riplinger with a doctorate degree back in the mid 1990s, Bro. Hyles said, "A lot of you may criticize me for publicly honoring a woman in this way. But the truth is that this lady has done more for our cause than many of you preachers. If more of you would take a stand on the King James Bible, she wouldn't have had to write this book!" So, in honor of Jack Schaap's slander of Mrs. Riplinger, we present this 3+ hour video, where Mrs. Riplinger was interviewed by an evangelical TV host. At the end of these interviews, it is apparent that she positively influenced her interviewer towards a more pro-KJV position.
