Dung Grin's video: Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp understands Adam Lallana stance on free transfer exit

@Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp ‘understands’ Adam Lallana stance on free transfer exit
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is resigned to losing Adam Lallana on a free transfer, with the midfielder set to run out his contract at Anfield. Lallana has been used as a bit-part player for the European champions this season.  Lallana’s contract is set to expire in the summer, and he can therefore speak to potential new clubs in January ahead of a pre-contract agreement. The midfielder has barely featured for Jurgen Klopp’s side this campaign, due to the prominence of midfield trio Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum and Fabinho. As a result, he has started just three games and is unlikely to feature too much more going forward. Attacking midfielder Tamuki Minamino will join on January 1 and is likely to leap ahead of Lallana in the pecking order. JUST IN: UFC London: Lerone Murphy to face Gabriel Benitez at O2 Arena - EXCLUSIVE  Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants to extend the former Southampton man’s contract for another year, but Lallana is keen to leave to get more first-team football - according to The Telegraph.  The German boss is believed to understand Lallana’s situation and accept the fact he will likely leave. The 31-year-old playmaker wants to play more minutes and apparently knows that is unlikely to come at Anfield. Speaking after the Reds’ win over Wolves on Sunday, which took them 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League table, Lallana hinted he knows his role will not be as a starter. DON’T MISS Man Utd must poach Pochettino, Jose Mourinho transfer regret, VAR drama - talking points Mino Raiola slams Man Utd for Erling Haaland transfer breakdown after Dortmund move Tyson Fury promoter issues Anthony Joshua retirement prediction and warns of April KO READ MORE Chelsea boss Frank Lampard warned over January transfers  “It's a squad game and I've said before that we're going to need everybody,” he said. "We've got a few injuries at the time being and three or four kids on the bench, it's a great experience for them being involved and so close to what's been a special season so far. "We can't take our foot off the gas. “We've got a couple of huge games at home in the next week – Sheffield United, who have had a fantastic season, and then the derby in the cup.
