I particularly love the unique Smallville twist on Clark discovering his Kryptonian origins, Christopher Reeve delivering the message, and Jor-El speaking through the ship. The fear Clark has of Jor-El leads him to make to choices he knew he shouldn't have made, and shows us the danger of letting fear lead us.
