Wow, that dude went all-in, didn't he. A treasure hunter with a rogue sailor aesthetic was the perfect chance for me to go all Bryan Tyler and do a pirate-inspired theme for the character. It's still largely "classical" in its instrumentation to fit the theme of the game, but I made it unique and fitting to the character in a multitude of ways; a combination of fast-paced violas, cinema-style Mahler hammer samples, a solo violin I tried for a long time to get anywhere close to "fiddle" articulations, and a live-played acoustic guitar all add up to a very fitting character theme for a Tyrian treasure hunter.
