This one was trickier than the others, because she didn't really create a backstory. It's just a character that she plays, that happens to be an elementalist. So it was really up to me to create a personality in that character to match with a composition. With this in mind, I decided that an affinity to magic in its purest form, and its study, was the best choice. This is reflected in the piano, which I attempted to create as "contemplative", and the magical-sounding heavily reverbed celesta. The violin was added in because my wife likes solo violin sections.
