DuskRoar's video: Music from SIKULU - The Warrior 1991

@Music from SIKULU - The Warrior 1991
SIKULU - The Warrior, for fair use. After the internationally acclaimed musical Ipi Tombi from 1974 onward, Bertha Egnos (music) and her daughter Gail Lakier (lyrics) created Lulu-Wena and Sikulu - The Warrior. Part of the material from both productions was later used in Ipi Ntombi, as filmed in 1997. The story is about Ubhejane, a South African boy. He is in search of his father who has left his village years before, to defend the rights of black South Africans to their own land. The father, who hasn't been seen or heard of ever since, turns out to be in jail because of his ideas. After an emotional encounter, he sends his son back to continue with his struggle.
