Wavemakers United 's video: Dutch Wavemakers at Trade Mission in Bremen

07-03-2019 | Yesterday during the Trade Mission in Bremen, Katja Roose kiteboarding spoke with King Willem-Alexander about our approach to the human capital issues for the offshore wind and water sector. The King was very interested and wondered how we make the difference as dutch wavemakers since every sector wants to attract youth. We do this through a unique collaboration between athletes and students water or technique! The athlete talks to the youth from his or her passion of general interest on water, energy and climate change, together they give guest lectures at school, water and energielabs on events and through social media. With this we try to persuade the youth, National and international, to think about what they can do themselves around the climateproblems. We motivate them to choose for a water or technique studies, so that they can make the difference later on in life.
