TAPTOE Marinierskapel Vlootdagen, pardon Marinedagen, 2012 eindigen met optreden Marinierskapel op parkeerterrein achterop ergens op de Nieuwe Haven Den Helder 8 juli 2012. Het optreden was in het verleden op het Bernardplein, vroeg in de avond. Toen stond er ook veel volk. Nu stond er bijna geen kip - het publiek is dit niet gewend. En het massaal wegblijven van het publiek geeft ook aan datdie het er niet mee eens is. Of misschien oordeel ik te snel? Het bloedt ook dood... aan het eind wanneer de Marinierskapel langzaam over een sportveld wegloopt uit het beeld en het weinige publiek afdruipt. En alhoewel het al juli is, was het koud in de harde wind die ik in mijn rug had, zodat het geluid helaas van mij af waaide. Dat is erg jammer. Op het Bernardplein was het optreden veel majestueuzer, voller van geluid. Ik had beter moeten weten en aan de andere kant moeten staan zodat het geluid naar mij toekwam. Daar staat tegenover dat het geluid van de harde wind dan ook te horen was geweest op de video. Beter is de taptoe op het evenemententerrein op een kade of langs de weg te laten plaatsvinden met de Marineschepen op de achtergrond. Dan komt het publiek massaal aanlopen! I have a better camera but I did not expect that the tattoo would be so soon and in this place (it used to be later and on the Bernardsquare - this was the first time it was done so early and in this parking place away from the real event, which is a shame, for if it would held with the Navy ships in the background, it would be perfect! And there would be a crowd of people also for sure!) when I visited the Navy Days yesterday or I would have brought my better camera. I brought this camera because I just bought it at ALDI (it is waterproof to 3 meters and cost me 45 euro so how could I resist? And how could I complain since it has the handy size of a mobile phone.) and wanted to see how this camera would perform. And I should have used a tripod.
