Our national anthem is actually a part of a song written by Rabindranath Tagore in Bangla - Bharoto Bhagyo Bidhata. The song was then translated into Hindi. We are singing two stanzas of the song. You will find the tune very close to Jana Gana Mana, but not exactly same. There are some beautiful subtle differences in the notes. We find it very powerful and emotional.
