A BR class 483 ex London Underground 1938 Stock train takes the biscuit as the bounciest train I’ve ever travelled on. These trains achieve a top speed of 45 MPH on the Island Line on the Isle Of Wight. These trains are 81 years old converted from pre war London Underground 1938 stock trains making them the oldest trains in the United Kingdom to operate a regular service on the National Rail network on top of being in my opinion the bounciest. The trains are scheduled to be replaced this summer with ex London Underground trains dating back from the very late 1970’s and early 1980’s and the Island Line its self is to receive major upgrade work so get down here quickly If you want to enjoy the island line at its finest as well as at its bounciest before everything is upgraded.
