Don’t know how to write this post perfectly but I’m just gonna do it from the heart. A lot went into this. I’m emotional listening back to the whole thing. The amount of guests, collaborators, people who contributed… well it’s actually insane. The only way to properly thank them is the long ass shoutout section at the end of the last song. And even that is just chipping at the surface. 3 years ago when I started this album alone in the woods in upstate new york I felt pretty lost. I believe I’m still very far from finding myself, but definitely farther along that path now than I ever could have imagined. Living in California. Getting out there. Trying to break ice and check all the national parks off my bucket list slowly but surely. Take Care Of Yourself started as a mantra for me personally. It ended up as the album name.
