We thought the first day on the Rocky Mountaineer train was fantastic… but it gets even better! Today we are getting into the Rocky Mountains!! The peaks get higher and higher… and we see where where they got their name as the mountains themselves look like shear rock walls! Beautiful!! We also pass through Glacier National Park and see several glaciers from the train. There were lots of tunnels today! One being five miles long! At the end of the day we reached the spiral tunnels. These go through two mountains and you exit the tunnel 50ft higher than you entered. We end our day in Lake Louise… ready for tomorrow’s adventure!
